Is VPS Hosting A Better Way To Go?

The vast majority of people that are building a web presence usually go with a shared server. That is where your website goes onto a web server with many other web sites and you all use the resources of that server. You have all you pay for and maybe even a little bit more if it is available. The biggest problem with the shared hosting is the security issues.

Let’s face it, some folks can install a program and/or a set of scripts the wrong way, and it might just affect what you are doing on your websites.

With a VPS hosting (Virtual Private Server) you have all but eliminated that kind of problem because all of your files are stored separate from all other users on the server. There are firewalls erected which keeps things from happening on one site, such as a surge in visitors or that incorrectly installed program/script from impacting your stuff. This is a very secure way of being hosted and it is a little more expensive, however, the piece of mind it gives can be priceless!
